So......I was looking on Pinterest today for some crafts or DIY projects, then I came along to a Bottle Cap Craft. I looked to see what you had to do to make them....and.....well......Everything seems to be complicated to do except make Modge Podge(an upcoming post!) So I , being lazy to buy the supplies yet be a perfectionist at the same time....Simplified making this project with at homes stuff...
~Things you will want~
Frankly, it doesn't matter what you used as long as it works, but this is what I did :)
I had Bottle Caps (the ones from like glass bottles)
Some Glue, Hot Glue and Elmer's
Doomi Diggis To put on my Caps (gems and a button)
Paint (I used acrylic)
Popsicle Stick (optional)
And GLITTER ! :D
So First of all I Paint The Caps A Color (I used 2 different shades of Pink). After that dried everything was fast and quick. I used a Popsicle Stick or anything to spread the Elmer's Glue on top of the cap. Before the Glue Dried I Poured some glitter on it! I put the excess glitter back into its container. Then I on one of the caps I layed 3 gems onto the glitter and glue and let it dry. On the other cap I Glued A White Button On It. Then Put some glue right in the middle of the button and put glitter in it so Now I looks like a white circle surrounding a glittery circle! :)
The Outcomes
The Button Bottle Cap....
And The Gem Bottle Cap
So Sorry For Bad Picture Quality , My Webcam isn't the best.
Now What to do with these cute little things?? Well I have thought up of a Couple Options :)
Using the Hot Glue Gun, You Can Glue A Chain To The Back side and make it into a necklace! Or Still using the hot glue gun, make it a pendant by gluing A safety pin to the back of the cap.
And Finally, you could apply a Circular Magnet Strip and Make the Cap into a Cute Little Magnet!! :)
Hope You enjoyed this simplified version (Trust me the others were more complicated) And Thanks For Reading!
*The Smudger* ;)
