DIY Lava Lamp

It's Exactly 10 am where I'm at and I have already made Something!! Well I was searching Pinterest as usual and found a great Pic of a DIY Lava Lamp. I have looked up and researched the whole thing and decided to give you guys a How-To. So here we go! 

First you need...

1. Vegetable Oil

2. 1/8 cup of water

3. Alka-Seltzer 

4. Food Coloring

5. A Water Bottle {Works well with Voss Bottles I heard} Or a Mason Jar which is what I used. 

Sorry, I didn't take pictures until I put the water and Veggie Oil in the Jar I forgot! So first pour your 1/8 cup of water in and then add Vegetable Oil until there is only about an inch left to the top. *Note divide the Alka-Seltzer Into about four pieces before hand.

Next Add Ten Drops Of Food Coloring into Jar. 

Let the Food Coloring Spread out on the bottom before adding Alka-Seltzer. Once the food coloring is where it is supposed to be...Drop in the Alka-Seltzer and Wait a few seconds!! :)

And there you have it. How to make your own lava lamp. It lasts for a couple Minutes.  When its done just stick the jar back on and you can do it again tomorrow with another Alka-Seltzer Tablet! :) Have Fun!!
